“In 1937, during earlier partition proposals, David Ben Gurion, a zionist, who was to become Israel’s first prime minister, wrote to his son,
“A partial Jewish state is not the end, but only the beginning. The establishment of such a Jewish State will serve as a means in our historical efforts to redeem the country in its entirety….We shall organize a modern defense force…and then I am certain that we will not be prevented from settling in other parts of the country, either by mutual agreement with our Arab neighbors or by some other means….We will expel the Arabs and take their places…with the force at our disposal.”

Hi Alec.
Yes I am aware.
However, such things are unprovable, often hearsay and; whatever happened before May 14th 1948, became irrelevant on May 15th 1948 when the Jewish People’s Council drew a definitive line in the sand by a declaration recognized by the majority of the world community of nations.
Israel is responsible for its own fate, successes and failings as of that moment. Alas, driven by the idiotic religious notions of a Greater Israel, it has failed dismally to live up to the obligations of A) it’s declared and recognized responsibilities B) being a part of the world community who gave it the opportunity to exist C) to the UN who accepted it on it’s word. D) to it’s neighbouring Palestinians. E) even it’s own citizens.
My criticism and opinion is based on legalities from the moment Israel was declared and recognized as it asked to be recognized, before ever laying claim to any territories. Legalities can be proven. The documents and statements are on the official record of the UN. The words have not changed since being recorded or since the final drafts of resolutions, laws, conventions etc, which say exactly what they mean. In full here
Part of those legalities applies to Israel’s own undertakings to the people of Israel. For example there has never been a legally elected government in Israel . I am amazed at how many people who claim they are well versed in the issue, especially Israelis, who appear not to have read the Declaration for the Establishment of the State of Israel carefully.

LOL!!! Love how you used a audio program to show the applause difference! :D
By the way in the map you showed in this post I was not able to read the words for what the red, green and purple territory stand for.
Also, when you say “Right click for enlargement”, don you mean “Left click”
Anyway, nice post; just point that out.

Thanks,
I have fixed L/R thing and replaced with a more explanatory 1st Graphic. If enlarged with a right click you should be able to see the Colour Legend. You might need to expand it in your browser window.
Please feel free to use anything you can use from this site
